Ok, I don't know who to credit this photo for, it is not mine, but I just think it is one of the coolest things ever. Look at these baby hummingbirds!! To die for. Cutest things ever. Unfortunately, there has been a lack of hummingbirds in my garden this spring and summer. Whilst I provide plenty of flowers for them to visit, I just don't seem to be on their flight path. We have one female that consistently nests in a neighbors crape myrtle from year to year, but I rarely get to see her. I think I've only spotted her twice this season. However, I must say that I've not had much of a presence out in my front ornamental garden this spring. It's been hectic, and the garden has been left in survival of the fittest mode. So perhaps she's out there everyday doing her nectar dance...I've just been AWOL. Next year I must do a better job of putting out the feeders.

That is the coolest picture! The nest is so well made. It looks so comfy and cozy. I'd love to get a great shot like that of tiny hummingbirds. Hummingbirds are scarce here this year too.
