Excellent! 'Early Girl' is a good variety to plant to combat early onset of heat and thus low productivity. Plant and early variety early and you get early fruit! lol

I planted on April 18th in a swc and I have so many tomatoes. Of course I don't remember what varieties I planted. The roma plant has tons of fruit on it and the slicing tomato plant has 4 tomatoes growing with lots of flowers that look like they will set.

The "Early Girl" I planted around March 20 is producing like crazy! Probably two dozen full-size fruits that should start ripening soon. Haven't seen as much from the other varieties planted at the same time.

The "Gold Currant" cherry transplants planted much later have just started to set fruit but then I never cease to be amazed at the hardiness of this variety.
